The papers submitted to ROMAI Journal are retained for the reviewing process only if the Editorial Board finds their content in accord with the fields accepted and with the aims of the journal.

After this selection, the papers are peer reviewed, and only papers with a positive report are published.

RJ utilizes a single-blind-peer-review system: the reviewers know who the authors are and the reviewer reports provided to the authors are anonymous.

The manuscript will generally be reviewed by one or two scientists, familiar with the manuscript's subject, who will be mainly asked to pronounce on the scientific content, to the novelty of the subject and whether the manuscript is coherent or not.

The Editors will take a decision on the base of the reviewers' report and, if necessary, they will consult the Editorial Board.
